Ebro Foods (<\/span>www.ebrofoods.es<\/span>) has executed the acquisition of the 52% of the Italian companies Geovita Functional Ingredients, S.r.l. and its subsidiary Geovita Nutrition, S.r.l. (together, \u201cGeovita<\/strong>\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n

Geovita is a leading player in the production and sale of legumes, rice, fast-cooking grains and other healthy ingredients. It has achieved considerable market differentiation through the highly innovative solutions it offers. It has a workforce of 94 employees distributed among three production plants in Italy, located in Bruno, San Giovanni Lupaloto and Villanova Monferrato. <\/span><\/p>\n

The transaction price was \u20ac16.5 million.<\/span><\/p>\n
