EU antitrust authorities give the unconditional approval to the sale of Azucarera Ebro

Madrid, 31 March 2009. Ebro Puleva announces that the European Commission Antitrust Authorities have approved the agreement reached with Associated British Foods for the sale of Azucarera Ebro.

This approval was one of the pre-requisites for completing the sale, scheduled to be finalised on 30 April.

The sale of Azucarera Ebro, valued at 526 million euro, assures significant development potential and the beginning of a new growth era for both Azucarera Ebro and Ebro Puleva.
